Class description:  Introduction to mixed media art and it’s production.  Students will be provided with a brief showcase of mixed media art. Then we will be creating our own pieces of mixed media artwork! Let’s create something!  Students should bring:  Mediums of their choice: newspaper/magazine cuttings for their piece (pictures, text), acrylic paints, markers, charcoal, etc. Tools: Glue (mod podge is great), paintbrushes, scissors.  One surface their choice: paper/woodblock/canvas/masonite/cardboard  All are welcome! Come to learn! Come to share and engage! This is our time and place!
