At its core my practice is rooted in the conviction that meaning is not found in permanence, but in the act of perpetual reformation. My paintings, always remaining on the edge of lucidity, resisting to be fully unraveled are born from traces and echoes of what lingers… fragments of a self-unseen, transposed into a solid yet fleeting moment in time - tangible, tessellated, and alive.

 

As forms and patterns interlace balancing logical and fantastical, the surface becomes a tapestry of detail, dismantling and reassembling the universe in existence. Holding both structure and fluidity, rigid shapes and delicate inlays converse with raw abstraction reflecting the complexity of lived experience. The absence of color strips away distraction to focus solely on the contrasts that shape this experience… presence and absence, form and void, dissonance and harmony, inviting the viewer to witness the quiet poetry as fragments dissolve and reform, revealing beauty not in the resolution but in transformation itself.

 

I delight in this tension between the evident and the elusive, as forms are dismantled and reassembled, like puzzle pieces that almost fit but never fully settle. It is in this restless in-between where imagination drifts and reality anchors that my work finds its pulse and where becoming is its own kind of truth.
