Anatomy of Isolation
ROUND 1 DEADLINE: May 30th, 2026
Anatomy of Isolation
The mirror of the soul is the body, often expressing one’s deepest thoughts in ways words cannot. The jaw clenches with tension, lungs release with relief, the head lifts with hope: all minute movements telling a narrative beyond the capabilities of the conscious mind. Gesture is a universal language, the equalizer of humanity. Spanning time and space, there is peace to be found internally despite the calamity beyond.
The exhibition “Anatomy of Isolation” seeks to fill isolation with sensation and form. This exhibition centers on figural work that engages with the body as a vessel for psychological states. There are moments in which we become acutely aware of ourselves, feeling ourselves drift away in the sea of our own mind even as our body responds to exterior space. There is an innateness to being lonely, allowing for comfort to be had in the truth that we are not alone in being alone.
We are particularly interested in works where isolation and stillness is not depicted, but rather felt. All mediums are welcome, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, video, and installation. While the human figure is central to this exhibition, interpretations may range from literal to abstract, fragmented, or implied.
PERKS: Exhibitions are routinely featured in international press such as USA Art News. Full social media campaign highlighting every artist individually. Sales funnel--any purchase inquiries are directed to you with no commission split.
