The works in the exhibition, centered on figuration and portraiture, explore the intricacies of human existence in a world dominated by mechanisms to avoid introspection. These works highlight the expressions of the psyche, portraying individuals grappling with capturing themselves inside their relaity. 

Impacting our perception of reality, and expanding the best and the worst of human minds, technology seems to project both a utopian and dystopian future. The aim of this exhibition is to probe the duality and pitfalls of technological development both at the level of artistic and conceptual production media in today's society.

Anti-art is a loose term that is applied to artistic forms that question the existing accepted definition of art or questions art in general. The Milostka Exhibition Center curated an exhibit that showcases the absence of established artistic practices and historically celebrated aesthetics.

Using art to inform, act and protest in this exhibition we aim to bring solutions to how collectively we can fight against climate change and environmental degradation. Perceiving art as a form of protest and catalyst for social change, “On the Rise” it’s an appeal for immediate action!

"On our Lands: Artistic Production and Indigenous Rights" is a project to share a safe space with Indigenous artists; to resist, claim their rights, celebrate their unique identities, and raise awareness about their histories.

“Out of Wounds: Art Uncovering Gender Violence,” was developed as platform to allow those who have, or have known someone who has experienced gender violence, to artistically express themselves and their views.

From physical structures to a community of people, we all have different versions of what it means to be “at home.” How do we define “home,” and how do we find it when the odds are against us?

The world as we previously knew it has been changing and with it - our perceptions. The previously unthinkable circumstances have left a scar in modern-day society. In the current times of unrest, we can’t help but ask ourselves what is yet to come? What do we do with the pieces of our own broken mirrors?

Humans are curious by nature, and looking into each other's lives is a source of creativity. Though we may not be aware of it, we are all voyeurs. We obtain gratification from observing others. There is excitement in looking into other people’s lives, peeking into their worlds, guessing their stories and thoughts.

Human behavior is the endless stream of perceptions, feelings, and thoughts at both the conscious and unconscious levels, but what the eye cannot produce, the brain completes the external on an unconscious level. We create the meaning of the events around us. The meaning is and always was artificial. So, what is the reality?

Reflecting on all that is veiled, concealed, hidden, and peripheral, 'Beyond the Veil' explores the enigmatic moments frequently associated with the image of a veil. A social, identical, and cultural marker, the veil is neither limited to its history nor to its pragmatic or symbolic use.

Reminisce the journey you have taken, the places you have traveled, and the transformation you have undergone mentally and emotionally. How have you expressed changes in your identity over the course of the pandemic? How has your persona bloomed?
