What do you aim to say by the themes in your art?
With the series "Your face - Your mirror", I tried to make people dig deep into the inner world and reject people from the norms of a standard, accepted society and see each other beyond it. That is why I used non-standard, discarded box parts, and recycling things as drawing material So that people outside the framework can begin to evaluate the essence. The importance is to note the stories of the characters hidden behind them and not the sorted and smoothed texture, with the stronger, my main goal is to thought these would intensify the stories.
Where does your inspiration come from?
The series "Your face - Your mirror", was inspired by the ongoing socio-economic situation that comes up from people's lives. I painted a series of portraits to identify the emotional problems reflected in their image.
Do you have experiences that impacted your art?
Life experiences and echoes that accompany my world.
Do you feel your art challenges existing barriers?
Challenges help us to find new ways. On the one hand, we often feel untouched by problems like climate change, global issues, as well as human emotional pain. If we are not related to the field/theme or this something does not touch us, most of us have the feeling of safety. And in that time when we could easily do something to help others, we are closing our eyes. It is human behavior, it does not mean that someone is bad or heartless.
What are your long-term artistic goals?
I am approaching an age when I already feel that I am free and have enough experience to share my voice with others and also ready to hear others. My artist goal at the moment is to work on a new solo exhibition and also become a member of the art community out of my country.
What advice do you have for aspiring artists?
The advice is that - you can have fantastic technique, intellect, and skills. All these are teachable, but at the same time it is not equal to the word Artist. A true artist is a person with truly internal freedom.
