What do you aim to say by the themes in your art?

Lately I have been focusing on social criticism and experimentation through digital and abstract techniques. For me, it is very important that mine is a sincere message and that all this is immediately returned to the viewer. Lately, my works have been based on a critique of religion, of power. I always follow a personal, almost surreal style. Art cannot only be created for embellishment, it must also have a role of criticism and reflection.

Where does your inspiration come from?

To make new artworks, usually, I simply sketch first on paper what I have on my head, surely some bizarre ideas: recently I prefer the BIC pen, that I use on my personal sketchbook.

I make different drawings of the same theme at that moment, taking inspiration from pictures found on the web and rework them in my personal style. Sometimes it happens that the same subject is represented with different art techniques, on digital media, ink, or pencil.

To remains concentrated, usually, I listen to background radio, youtube channels, or documentaries.

Do you have any experiences that have impacted your art?

I have had the opportunity to change my artistic style in the last two years in particular, often observing the most popular artistic genres on social media, one of all vaporwave and NFT works. I also began a criticism of religious power by taking inspiration from my personal nightmares where I often dreamed of insects, which I then associated with religious figures.

Do you feel your art challenges existing barriers?

I think yes. Digital art challenges physical barriers, it's accessible everywhere and has no "real" space limits.

What are your long-term artistic goals?

My long-term goals are mainly to criticize religious power, to create a discussion between the work and the viewer, and not just a relationship of ecstatic admiration.

What advice do you have for aspiring artists?

The most important advice I can give is to never give up for any reason (and remember, it is after failures that arrives true opportunity!) in own artistic career and to see drawing, painting, the artistic process in general, as a means of rewatch in many different ways the reality. Don't make art to hear how good you are, but to make new growth and collaborations between human beings.
