This ballet class is designed to help with classical technique, but also just to have fun and get the body moving. Barre will consist of combinations, beginning with a small warm-up and then progressing through the steps all the way to grand battements. We will transition to center work.

About the Event
Class Description: This ballet class is designed to help with classical technique, but also just to have fun and get the body moving. Barre will consist of typical combinations, beginning with a small warm-up and then progressing through the steps all the way to grand battements. We will transition to a small bit of center work following that. This class is taught an intermediate/advanced level.
Class Outline: Barre- Warm-up, Plies, Tendus, Degages, Rond de jambes, Fondu, Frappe, Adagio, Grand Battement; Center work- Tendus, Adagio
About your instructor: Michelle Davis is a classically trained ballet dancer with over 16 years of experience. She also trained in other various styles such as contemporary, lyrical, jazz, tap, hip hop, and musical theatre dance. She has performed Principal and Soloist roles in The Nutcracker (Clara, Snow Queen, Dew Drop, and Sugar Plum Fairy), Sleeping Beauty (Aurora, Lilac Fairy, Woodland Glade Fairy, and Enchanted Garden Fairy), Les Sylphides (Mazurka Soloist), and The Dream Scene from Don Quixote (Kitri/Dulcinea). She is currently studying Stage Management at Tulsa Community College.
