About the Event
Class description: In this class, we will learn how to render the shapes of a snow globe while also designing a fun, winter-themed interior. Any materials available can be used for this fun and simple winter project! Use pencils, color pencils, markers, or any other medium to work on value, color theory, balance, and unity. Your final product will be made into a virtual card that will be sent to children's hospitals and nursing homes!
Meet the instructor: Mya Jane is a self-taught artist who just began art school at George Mason University, right outside of Washington D.C. She has been passionate about art since she was a kid. She experiments with many different mediums but is best with drawing and oil painting. Mya specializes in the genre of dark art, taking inspiration for her pieces from the darkest parts of her life. She is currently starting her brand, JUST DIE, while also freelancing her art on Instagram and Etsy. She very firmly believes that everyone should have the opportunity to learn about art.
