What do you aim to say by the themes in your art?
My works focuses on the emancipation of the human mind from conforming to the political conventional patterns that limits our abilities but to promote Individual freedom and promote originality.
Where does your inspiration come from?
My inspiration comes from basically anything, Art is a therapy for me, I use it to express my deepest feeling, feelings I have no words to describe. Sometimes my inspiration springs from my personal experiences and the stimuli I get from the outside world, my immediate surroundings.
Do you have experiences that impacted your art?
Well, I have so many experiences that has greatly influenced my life, the closest I can remember was when my trust was betrayed, and I had to deal with legal issues over a crime I didn’t commit or directly commit. I was broken I thought I wouldn’t get through it but I did and all the way through it, I could only heal myself through my art. I really learnt so much during that time and my passion grew even much more.
Do you feel your art challenges existing barriers?
Yes I feel my art facing challenging barriers, such as finding a collector, my location, and most importantly finding people around who truly understand the true value of art.
What are your long-term artistic goals?
My long term artistic goal would be having financial freedom and using my art to impact people’s life and tell stories, and when I grow grey, I’ll look back at the years and be proud.
What advice do you have for aspiring artists?
The only advice I’ll love to give to aspiring artists would be, Never to give up on their dreams.
