What do you aim to say by the themes in your art?
My art is about encouraging people to sustainable development and protecting nature. We live in the Anthropocene, but this period should not be an ecological catastrophe. On the contrary, we can try to save land, air, and water from pollution, debris, and other human activities.
Where does your inspiration come from?
I found inspiration primarily in nature, and it is she who evokes in me those powerful reactions that make me feel ready to turn the world upside down.
Do you have experiences that impacted your art?
There is not a single specific event that would affect my art. This is a set of my views on life, topics, and issues that are relevant now. I feel the greatest connection with nature all my life, so it has the greatest impact on my art.
Do you feel your art challenges existing barriers?
My art is not very radical, I always show the themes and problems that exist in our world quite delicately and beautifully.
But in connection with the war and genocide in Ukraine, I felt the emotion of war and so now the themes of my art will be more radical and bold.
What are your long-term artistic goals?
I am currently working on an environmental project, so in the future, I plan to make a large-scale exhibition. I also plan to visit international art residencies.
What advice do you have for aspiring artists?
Listen to your inner voice, never give up, create from the heart.
