SOCIETY is the latest publication from artist, writer, and musician Sean Bw Parker, showcasing a bold collection of original paintings created between 2018 and 2025. Through media including acrylic, ink, oil pastel, and watercolor, Parker portrays infamous figures and cultural archetypes with a stylistic approach that fuses surrealism, neo-impressionism, and deconstructed cubism.

SOCIETY is Sean Bw Parker’s tenth publication and his first solely dedicated to original paintings. The collection features portraits of various figures, including Johnny Depp, Scott Adams, and Elon Musk, created between 2018 and 2025. Parker's style incorporates elements of surrealism, neo-impressionism, and 'deconstructed cubism,' aiming to capture the essence of his subjects beyond literal representation. His experiences living in Istanbul and his work in justice reform since 2018 have influenced his artistic approach.
Parker brings a deeply interdisciplinary lens to his work. Since earning his MA in Fine Art from the University for the Creative Arts in 2003, he has:
Lived in Istanbul for a decade, shaping a global perspective
Published numerous books, albums, and articles
Performed and curated at international festivals
Given a TED Talk and been featured on BBC Radio
Exhibited work at London’s South Bank
Parker turns his focus to what he calls his first "pure art" book—a visual archive that invites both critique and contemplation.
📖 SOCIETY is available in paperback, hardback, and Kindle.
