Craftspring Gallery in Brooklyn’s Gowanus neighborhood will host a new exhibition of work by Judith Ornstein, opening Friday, May 16, from 4 to 7 PM. Guests are invited to join the artist for a drink and an early look at the show, which will remain on view through June 14.

Located at Craftspring Gallery, 287 Third Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11215, Craftspring Gallery offers an intimate setting that suits Judith’s practice—thoughtful, detailed, and attuned to the quiet power of form and material. Though full details about the works on view have not been shared publicly, those familiar with Judith’s visual language will recognize the care, nuance, and quietude that runs through her oeuvre.
The gallery will be open on Thursdays from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Appointments outside those hours are also welcome.
This show offers a moment of spring to slow down, step in, and spend time with a body of work that invites close examination. For those in or near New York, it’s not to be missed.
