Josephine Florens
Josephine Florens was born in Odessa on September 22, 1988. Graduated from Odessa National Academy of Law and received a Master's degree in Civil Law, graduated from Odessa International Humanitarian University, and received a Master's degree in International Law. She started painting in 2017. She studied individually at the Art-Ra school of painting with the Odessa artist-painter Sergei Simora. The main direction of study was the South Russian school of painting. Josephine Florens is a member of the National Association of Artists and Sculptors of Ukraine, member of the Odessa Marine Union, Ukraine. Member of the section "Environmental Protection and Monitoring of the Black Sea". Creates oil paintings in various genres, such as portrait, landscape, still life, genre painting, animal painting, marina. Works with oil paints. The painting styles used in the work are realism, impressionism, mixed styles.

What do you aim to say by the themes in your work?
The themes of my art are always good in various variations. With my paintings I encourage people to be kind to animals, children, people, nature and so on. It seems to me that kindness will save the world.
Where does your inspiration come from?
My inspiration comes from nature most often. I draw it from a subtle and beautiful environment, from leaves and flowers, from an ant and a leopard, from a child's smile, from a good deed, and even from home comfort and a calm atmosphere. This is an inexplicable thing for me, but I can only say one thing - when inspiration comes, it is very mentally pleasant!
Do you have any experiences that have impacted your art?
What do you aim to say by the themes in your work?
Oh yeah. And unfortunately, these are very bad events. I will list a few - the war, the death of parents, relatives, friends, pets ... It is very sad even from these memories, but they certainly affect my work, because at such moments you understand the value of life, the value of every minute, you understand how fragile and valuable the life of any even the smallest living creature ...
Yes, I think so. I destroy in my art the barriers of propaganda of evil and destruction, immorality and dirt in painting, this leads to degradation and I fight it.
What are your long-term artistic goals?
Opening my own art gallery in a large tourist city, entering the international arena of painting, working for charity, drawing attention to the troubles of mankind with the help of my painting, so that people's eyes and souls are opened and they do not stand aside and do not remain indifferent to someone else's I'm burning.
What advice do you have for aspiring artists?
Stay yourself, be kind, because being an artist is a gift, use your gift wisely, believe me, with the help of art you can change a lot in the world, both for good and for bad. Be good no matter what!
