Where does my donation go?
Support youth arts education, art as visual activism, and art as community activism while fostering an international community of artists and their professional development. Read below about two programs that are completely donor-funded:
Exhibition Opportunities for Emerging Artists
Video shows how our curators and exhibiting artists celebrated International Women's Day through arts advocacy promotion
SUCCESS STORY:
Our curatorial affairs department is 100% women run, which offers a new and diverse perspective in the arts in the notoriously male-dominated field. Your donations help emerging artists like Susanne Tabet have a solo 360-degree 3D exhibition on view in our virtual Milostka Center, providing an accessible industry entry and professional exhibition credit!
Ballet Beyond Boundaries
Pictured is our spring / summer 2021 cohort
SUCCESS STORY:
CAC offered virtual ballet classes taught by a professional dancer for a cohort of children in Colombia. Students had no prior dance experience, and through a three month period, advanced from a level 1 ballet syllabus to a level 2 or 3. The children had the opportunity to perform excerpts from Swan Lake at the end of quarter recital via Zoom for an international audience.
