What do you aim to say by the themes in your work?
Themes in my artwork aim to raise awareness to global issues in particular concerns of the environment. Other themes in my work are multicultural aiming to indicate that we can learn from the richness found in different cultures.
Where does your inspiration come from?
My inspiration comes from nature and sometimes myths.
How would you describe your creative process?
My creative process sometimes includes research. At other times, my creative process is
intuitive and mediative.
What is integral to your work as an artist?
I believe an integral part of my work does consist of an addition and subtraction of an image to find a balance. Even when I work intuitively, I find myself editing the finished work.
Do you have any experiences that have impacted your art?
My education and travels have impacted my art.
What advice do you have for aspiring artists?
Advice I have for aspiring artist is to believe in your potential and art. Share your creativity to inspire others.
